About Grant Boulevard Dental PLLC

Located at 1500 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13208, Grant Boulevard Dental PLLC operates as a dentist serving Syracuse in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Since there’s no way to leave reviews for their Liverpool location I’ll just put it here. When my dentist of MANY years retired, this guy bought the practice, and I decided to give him a try. What a mistake. Not only was the cleaning inadequate, but he made claims that I had several cavities and gum disease based off pictures (not x rays, PHOTOS) of my teeth?? Again, not a single x ray was done, no checking my teeth with the tools, NOTHING. He was telling me I needed fillings URGENTLY or I’d need a root canal soon. Luckily I was familiar with GOOD dental practice as I went to my prior dentist every 6 months since childhood and never had a problem. Fast forward to finding a new dental practice, and what do you know, they do x rays and a full exam and tell me I have BEAUTIFUL teeth and gums, not a single issue in sight. So beware and make sure to get a second opinion on anything this place tells you.

This dentist ruined my beautiful smile! They told me I needed to root canals when I never did. In the process the dentist broke my two teeth and while doing so said I need to pay fifty dollars in cash to rebuild the tooth so he can put a crown on it. I said you broke the tooth fix it. They put two metal hard crowns on and it was never put on right. I told them right away as the dentist snuck out I had to deal with the assistant she said it just feels funny because there new. I said they aren't aligned right. They literally put like a bonding cement on it and held it in place while they took the x ray with the crown in it not even in proper place they took an X-ray while holding this crown in my mouth at the same time to fake the X-rays they never were out in correct as soon as this happen I kept telling her she said I'm making it up and should be worried about my other teeth. She basically kicked me out because it was time for her to leave. I said I want to speak to the dentist now. She said sorry he left we are closing . I said I'm not leaving she basically kicked me out and said don't come back. I called and called and no one ever called me back. I knew the crown they put on woul

Staff was nice. Specifically the DA (white girl) but the Latina girl came off rude at times. The dentist was cool too but my wife had a weird experience where he randomly said she suffered from periodontitis and said she needed emergency laser surgery or her teeth would be falling out within 3 years?? The irony is that their specialty is this specific surgery so when she told me this I immediately chucked it up to him trying to pitch a sale for his specialty service. They also told her that they couldn’t do her cleaning because it was pointless due to disease? Long story short, we switched dentists and they told her it was a bluff. She has minor gingivitis which is reversible. My specific qualm was that I received an appointment reminder email that said I was scheduled for 2:20pm and I showed up at 2:15pm. Apparently they sent me a text reminder as well that said 2:05pm instead and they denied me service because I was 10 minutes late according to the text. Extremely inconvenient as I had left work early for this. Instead of taking the fault and accepting my visit they brushed it off and me made pay for their mistake.. 🚽🚽

The dental hygienist was friendly but overall this place is a scam. Save your time and efforts. The doctor was more focused on what type of insurance I had. Not taking into consideration I drove an hour for services I thought would be rendered according to their website. The place had no new equipment looks old and rundown. The doctor didn’t care about none of the services I wanted or that I drove to his establishment (rude). He only only cared about the tooth that was broke and what I would need to pay out of pocket. Didn’t care I requested a teeth cleaning or dental implants. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I was able to secure a spot way in nyc but no co pay and they’re going to do everything I asked with a referral for dental implants. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! #Scam

The reception and nursing staff are incredible - they made me feel so safe and worked very closely with me knowing that anxiety was listed on my chart. However, the dentist I saw was very dismissive and rushed through our consult. He simply told me that I urgently needed periodontal treatment and that no insurance would cover it. Rushed through and seemed annoyed by my questions, couldn't give me any concrete information or advice. He did give me a referral, but I left more unsure than I went in. He also entered the room with his mask down his nose - I spoke with him for less than ten minutes. Had to ask the nurse to bring him back to actually finish asking questions. It's the supporting staff that make up the good of this place, not the dentist.
